This weeks gwp color is gorgeous. It is kind of a turquoise with sparkles. I'm not the best at describing colors so here are pictures.

My camera was having issues, it looks better in person. My label didn't stick well. All of that product was above the label. Luckily I didn't spill it when I opened it up.

Also- if anyone has Grateful, I missed out on it and am looking to swap for it in the swap thread (i have coveted things like white chocolate macadamia lip lube, truly, and 9:59 up for swap as well as many GWP shades i got duplicates of and samples of any color you've been wanting to try)

Thanks a lot!!!
I have placed 2 orders to get 2 Mazel Tovs for me and sister-in-law only cause of its name, but now I'm happy as it seems to be so wearable))))
Thanks to all of you who post swatches into this uplifting thread for spoiled makeup addicts))) It helps me stand a month I have to wait before my orders ship)))

This is the GWP from Thanksgiving, "Grateful". It's a kind of complicated gold and brown with maybe some copper that feels like all the great parts of Thanksgiving in an eyeshadow. Please overlook the red mark- i had an altercation with a banana this morning...

How would you describe Mazel Tov?

Post by extemter » Mon Dec 13, 2010 11:29 pm

In case anybody's curious, Mazel Tov may look different depending on each individual's coloring. To me, it looks like a complex pale brownish taupe with obvious silver sheen, minuscule pink and green sparks, and an overall slightly green cast in some lights. Its sheer formula makes it an ethereal wash, highlighter, or neutralizer suitable for layering.

zeebs reviewed it as a gold/olive :)

My skin is olive so that may be why it pretty much looks gold on me

I'm yellow/peachy so my skin "eats" up those colors. :)

Not laughing at your injury... but I'm picturing you fist-fighting a banana. The banana has those white cartoon gloves and spindly arms.

I wish it had that kind of grandeur- i'm just ridiculously clumsy. If you've ever read Twilight*- I'm THAT kind of clumsy, a magnet for random accidents that seem completely ludicrous until they happen. I slipped and fell down a flight of stairs earlier in the week...it comes in waves...

After the banana though, your pineapple sent me into fits of giggles- it was kung fu fruit day!

*(not arguing the merits on the quality or lack thereof regarding the writing or acting, i enjoy it for what it is- a teen vampire romance novel/flick. I don't expect more out of it than I'm going to get)
