Liquid foundation or even a BB cream.

Post by sunnyray » Sun Apr 14, 2013 11:34 am

I know that it has been requested before but I would love for Karen to do a liquid foundation or even BB cream. I don't like mixing my own foundation and I have dry skin. Would love a wonderful moisturizing tinted foundation.Even a tinted sunscreen!

I don't have any plans to do a liquid foundation or BB cream, but I've been having pretty good luck with the cream concealer as a foundation, and also applying the All Purpose foundation with a damp blending sponge.

I also use the cream concealer as a foundation and put a finishing powder on top. I especially love it now that there's also a bronzer/countour shade

I draw two deep v's under my eyes, and then just kind of scribble with the stick everywhere else, and blend it with my hands, or the new sponge. There are probably better techniques, but I go from the outside in when I'm blending so it doesn't cake near my nose, and the whole thing takes maybe 30 seconds. Then if I feel like I need a little more coverage I put some All-Purpose on top.

as i wrote in this thread http://host.silknaturals.com/forum/view ... f=3&t=4171, i use the cream concealer no. 4 (and now also no. 5) as a cream bronzer/contour. i draw it on and then blend it out in a circular motion with a big dense brush. i use the same technique with the cream blushes, too.

the concealers and cream blushes aren't too oily/creamy, so the brush doesn't really absorb much product at all.

i will order the new sponge next and see how that works for me.

i draw it on in what i consider "drag queen" style (highlighting and contouring).

Concealer Stick #1
Undereyes: I draw a straight line from the inner corners of my eyes down to my nose then up from there to the outer corners of my eyes and back in. That's my triangle.

Jaw: I start under my lower lip and draw an arc from the corners of my mouth to the bottoms of my ears

I also draw a line down the middle of my nose, dot a teeny bit above my upper lip, and sometimes prime my eyelids.

Hamptons Hottie
Cheekbones: I draw a very acute triangle under each cheekbone, above the concealer line

Brow: I like a little bronzer on temples so i put a tiny triangle at the outer corner of each brow

Nose: I draw a thin line down each side of my nose

BLEND BLEND BLEND. I rub it all in. I top with a powder (sometimes a light foundations, sometimes a finishing powder, sometimes a glow) and often add a little powdered blush
