I bought my first tube of the Stick 'Em primer back in March last year, and I loved it! A teeny tiny amount goes a long way, and it dried completely clear and perfect.
Then in June I bought another tube, but this one didn't seem to be the same. No matter how small an amount I used, it left behind a sort of white flaky, crusty "scabbing" in spots. I thought maybe it was my skin, but I hadn't changed anything in my routine. I kept using it, but it was frustrating and I'd have to dab the spots off (or scrape them off, ouch).
Recently I purchased the Naked 3 clone (I love it so far! I hope people share lots of look ideas!) that came with a tiny dropper bottle of Stick 'Em. This bottle works EXACTLY like my original tube! It's velvety smooth and dries clear - no flakes, no white spots, nothing. Just to be sure, I alternated between my new mini bottle and tube (in case maybe it's because of the seasons changing?) and the difference was noticeable.
Was there any kind of change to the formula during this window of time? I still have SO MUCH product left in my tube, but I never reach for it now that I have the teeny tiny bottle that came with my Naked 3 dupe.
Did the Stick 'Em Primer formula change?

Re: Did the Stick 'Em Primer formula change?
I wasn't aware of any formula change other than when Karen first rolled it out as a Gumball then added it permanently to the lineup. Sorry I'm vague on this but I'm pretty sure there was a slight formula change but only at that time.
Does this product "spoil"? Maybe email them and inquire. I've never had any problems with mine, sorry your big tube isn't working. I'd definitely let someone know. How do you like Naked3? I'm so tempted to buy it!

I definitely don't think it spoiled, I don't think it's old enough! I keep it in a box with a lid, so it's not sitting out in the sunlight either (if that had any impact, I know that certain products have sensitive ingredients), but considering the primer is mostly water, glycerin, and silica with preservatives, I can't see what ingredient might be sensitive.
I was a bit nervous about the Naked 3 clone, but so far I really love it! I think the true shining stars are the two matte shades, Analog and Parallel - they both work stupendously in the crease. I also pair it up with other SN shadows I already own because some just match really well (Goddess, Burnout, and Forgery for example). The best part to me is that there isn't any fallout, yay!
