Clone request - Nars

Post by Cupcake » Sun Nov 02, 2008 3:06 pm

Hi - Nars have brought out a limited edition for their holiday collection - it's called "Super Orgasm", the regular Orgasm blush shot through with a fine gold glitter. Would it be possible to add a gold glitter to the Climax blush (which is the clone of Orgasm, I think?). I was thinking though, if it's impractical to produce, would the same effect be achievable by blending in one of the morphing eyeshadow highlighters, like Fire maybe? Or it could be a cool limited edition clone (since not everyone wants gold glitter, everyday... although I can't see why not, lol). Thanks.

Helena, I'll add my wish for this as well, although Climax is one blush that just doesn't show up on me. A more pigmented version with golden shimmer would be gorgeous! 2 of my favorite SN blushes are Lovelace & Charming, both of which have ultrafine shimmer.

I don't own charming , but I have to vote with Mikie that Lovelace is one of my favorite blushes. I also would like a slightly more pigmented version of Climax and the golden shimmer shot through it wouldn't hurt at all. I just used up the last of my climax, one jar lasted almost a year, but I didn't wear it everyday, and I really have to layer it on for it to show up on me, once I get enough on to see it , it is a beautiful shade .

I did get the Super Orgasm with an eye towards cloning...but the gold is very "chunky"- glittery almost. I keep thinking something with the color of Orgasm, but the pigmentation of Lovelace would be the way to go.

Thanks for considering it. I live a few hundred miles from department stores, so the only shopping I get to do is on the internet (can't see how products appear in real life). I'd hoped it had a fine veil of gold, not teenager-disco glitter :( Good to know, though. I'm sure you can magic up something sublime 8-)

Hi Karen

I think NARS has THE most striking colors offered, but I love your clones because of the healthier formulation.

I would love to see a lipstick and lip gloss colne of the DOLCE VITA to go with your enchanting blush

also, their blushes are verry popular and i would love to see a SN version of TORRID. Other unusual NARS colors that would be good to have clones would be GILDA which is a pretty coral pink/peach matte.

I would love to see dupes of the amazing eye shadows , such as:

ASHES TO ASHES, ONDINE, GALAPAGOS - all so unusual

matte eye shadows LULU, BENGALI, BALI, FEZ, DIVINE

duos: CHARADE, CORDURA. i have also heard that ALL ABOUT EVE, MADRAGUE and BELLISSIMA are hugely popular.

Or maybe you can recommend matches from your existing line?

Thank you so much for your artistry!
