sample baggies of the new e/s colors?

I think it was over a year or more ago when Karen introduced the MOAC, and we got the luxury of being able to buy sample sizes in little baggies of all the eyeshadows. It was a rare thing, and I for one was very grateful, since I was really able to weed out colors that suited me from colors that really didn't
.
I would sooooo love it if we could get samples of if not ALL the eyeshadow, but at least all the new mattes and morphes.

With us trying to save every penny for a house, I just cannot justify spending money on an eyeshadow I cannot see or feel or test; even with as reasonable as Karen's prices are. I wish I could just walk away and say it doesn't matter, but I am craving about 10 of those new shadows!!!!! Those swatches were just too good.

Anyway, guys, could you revisit the sample idea.....yah know, in your spare time?

Laurie, if you send me your address, i'll send ya some samples. i bought all but 3 of the new shadows i think. can't review them yet though as i fainted and cut my eyebrow on the floor and haven't been wearing makeup- not until it heals or at least til the liquid stitches are gone.

I wanted to bring this back because mineral e/s are new to me and I also will not commit to any unless I can try them first, so please, please, pretty PLEASE!

P.S. Actually I'd prefer a jar or "pod" even if it costs a little more...

Hi MsRaquel,
I wanted to give you a response on this. I know this is a 'wish', but I am pretty sure there won't be eyeshadow samples offered for sale any time soon. It about killed our staff the only time we offered them for a limited time. We do offer returns on colors that won't work for you, and we also have the swap board to share samples and full sizes that don't work.

Oh, that's really disappointing...

but thanks anyway for letting me know. I really don't see myself going to the post office just to return an e/s, and for a similar reason swapping would not be a good option for me so I guess I'll just stick to the things I've been getting so far because I can't even go by the swatches done on fair skin as mine is tan and everything looks different on me.

I can see how a limited time offer would be stressful as I suppose the samples were packaged upon demand, but if Karen decided to do it "permanently" then different planning would be required, such as pre-packing a certain amount of samples to be kept as part of the regular stock so maybe some day when SN grows some more...

Actually they were pre-packaged, if memory serves. Well, at least the first 2500 were- but those sold out in five days, I think. After that it was really difficult to keep up with the demand - and the samples were only available for maybe ten days?
